Far-UVC Technology
Visium utilizes cutting-edge Far-UVC technology, offering a safer, whole-room alternative to traditional UV-C light. With a peak wavelength of 222nm, the Ushio Care222 light source is designed to ensure effective germicidal action for air and surfaces while maintaining safety for occupied spaces.
Over 50 peer-reviewed studies and clinical trials have confirmed the safety of Far-UVC, with the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) establishing Threshold Limit Values (TLV) for UVC exposure.
Visium complies with these TLVs, ensuring safe operation in all recommended settings. The device is also UL certified to UL 8802 for 24/7 operation for occupied spaces.
